My parents are so awesome! They do foster-care and animal rescue and they even adopted my little brother in the year 2000. They have lots of friends, but their most important friends are my siblings and I. We are all each others best friends and we do so many things as a family.
My Mom was an Olympic Weight Lifting Champion and my Daddy was an acrogymnast and was in the United States Marine Corps.
My Daddy has 7 brothers and sisters and he is the 3nd youngest. My Mom is the youngest of 3 girls. Both of my parents come from familys where fostering kids is an always, both of my sets of grandparents did foster care, but my parents are biological to them, as am I.
My Mom has a very large array of medical problems, including a brain tumor and liver disease, so she can't do all of the things that she used to do with us, but she has over come so much. Her brain tumor is located in her Pituitary gland and it caused her to gain a lot of unwanted weight and it made her look like she was pregnant, but she stopped a few of her medications and she lost about 17 pounds and I would like to believe that her weight loss means that her tumor is going down.
Now we do lots of new things that we didn't do when we were younger, my Mom has developed a love of arts and crafts and we all sit down at the dining room table and do all sorts of projects. My Mom and Daddy's bed room door and walls of their bed room is covered with our projects.
My Dad is the one bringing home the bacon. He goes off to work everyday and cooks. He is a profesional chef and he also does catering. He mostly cooks and cleans at our Shul- Beth-El the heights Synagogue. Everybody there loves his cooking, everyone who tries his cooking loves it, and everyone there loves my dad, the kids there look up to him and love to be around him.
My siblings and I learned how to cook from my Dad, considering that my Mom can't cook for her life. She is always setting the stove on fire when she's cooking in the kitchen, so she is not allowed to cook in the kitchen unless she is being carfully watched by one of us. (LOL)
So as my conclusion, my parents are awesome and also my very best friends.
